pennine: Whilst we’re subjected to a barrage of preposterous Russo-phobia and being told how the Russians were to blame for installing President Trump (obviously a pathological denial of the gent being democratically elected by the good American people) and how blameworthy they were in causing a Leave win in our UK EU Referendum on June 23rd 2016. (heaven forbid that the majority of British people had the good sense to vote out of a foreign undemocratic political rule that none of we the British people were consulted about, nor asked our permission to be subjugated by)
So far without a shred of evidence have these Russian allegations being made.by those -(we could call them “Conspiracy Theorists” & be more justified in our assertion than the many false accusations that have been thrown out about honest people merely seeking/finding/speaking truth by establishments having things to hide.)-people sitting on high seats, who (we’d expect) should know better. Because they obvious don’t, makes one shudder that this world in places is being run by paranoid idiots.
To date there is no proof that Russia meddled in the American General Election in November 2016, nor in our EU Referendum. Unless it is found that Russian agents were out in mighty numbers frog marching everyone to the polling booths with guns to our heads in America and the UK,then the accusers should put up or shut up. George Soros on the other hand is not so innocent, He backed Barack Hussein Obama & Hillary Clinton and has his grubby fingerprints every where in world affairs and now is exposed in attempting to subvery our democratic decision to leave the EU. He claims to love Britain, but in truth he loves the corrupt EU & Globalism much much more. Time he was made redundant!!

BREXIT: Soros and Others Guilty of Foreign Meddling, NOT Russia

While certain voices continue droning on about Russian meddling, interference and collusion meant to affect everything from the US presidential election to Britain’s EU referendum, actual meddling in British affairs is being carried out openly and without shame.
Globalist billionaire George Soros, who is known among other things for his attack on the British pound in 1992, has sunk £400K into ‘Best for Britain’, a British pro-EU campaign seeking to reverse the Brexit decision with a second referendum on the country’s membership in the EU.
Best for Britain was started by Gina Miller, who previously sued the British government to give Parliament a final say over the outcome of the June 2016 referendum. Now, in addition to seeking a second referendum, Best for Britain is also lobbying MPs to vote against whatever Brexit deal Theresa May’s government comes up with. These aspects of the British democratic process are apparently too important to be left to the British people, but Best for Britain is more than happy to have the help of foreign individuals such as George Soros.
Writing in The Independent, the Best for Britain’s CEO Eloise Todd said:
“We are proud of the support we have received from funders over the last months, including George Soros, which has allowed us to build a team following the election campaign.”
In the Huffington Post, Todd writes:
“The money that George Soros and thousands of small donors have donated, and continue to donate is making a massive difference. That cash goes straight to frontline campaigning.”
In the Mail on Sunday, Soros defended his donation against accusations that it undermined democracy. However, soon after professing to be a passionate believer in open societies with elected leaders, as opposed to closed societies “in which rulers exploit the people under their control,” Soros then called the 2016 referendum a “fatal error”, negating the fact that 17 million people in Britain had their say and won the vote to leave the EU.
In addition to Best for Britain, the pro-EU, anti-Brexit ‘remainers’ now also have a new political party supporting their cause in the Renew party. As recently detailed in an article posted on Euronews, the Renew party’s platform bears many similarities to France’s La République En Marche!, the party which was founded in 2016 by French President Emmanuel Macron and which now holds a majority in France’s National Assembly.
Indeed, at least one of the MPs for En Marche!, the majority whip Amelie de Montchalin, explicitly supports Renew, and as seen in the video below encourages people in the UK to join its ranks. This could be seen as another clear case of a foreign attempt to influence the British democratic process, but the most vocal allegations being aired publicly are directed elsewhere.
Compare this to accusations that Russia meddled in Britain’s affairs by using Facebook advertising during the campaigning ahead of the UK’s EU referendum in June 2016. In response to an investigation by the Electoral Commission looking into those allegations, Facebook found that just 73p ($0.97) had been spent by the allegedly Russia-connected ‘Internet Research Agency’ on such ads.
In short, while certain voices are making a lot of noise imagining Russian meddling in British or American affairs, no evidence is forthcoming to support those charges. In contrast, other foreign sources of finance and influence such as George Soros and En Marche! are unashamedly taking sides in a British decision, doing so openly and with pride.
RT International reports…
Liberal US-Hungarian billionaire George Soros is facing accusations of once again meddling in British politics, after news broke that he has donated almost half-a-million pounds to a campaign seeking to reverse Brexit.
Soros, notorious in the UK for his links to a 1992 run on the pound, is among three donors backing the ‘Best for Britain’ campaign, which is lobbying MPs to call a second referendum or general election which would allow for the public to vote on any final Brexit deal, according to a strategy document leaked from a meeting of the group.
The Telegraph reports Soros also plans to recruit major Tory donors in an attempt to undermine Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit plans. The Hungarian-American reportedly hosted Tory and Labour donors at his house in London.
Among the guests at his house were businessman Stephen Peel, former Labour minister Lord Malloch-Brown and chief executive of WPP, Sir Martin Sorrell, it was reported.
Best for Britain plans to launch a nationwide advertising campaign this month, which they hope will lead to a second referendum. A leaked document says the campaign must “wake up the country and assert that Brexit is not a done deal. That it’s not too late to stop Brexit.”
It adds that a series of Momentum-style mass rallies and concerts are planned and the campaign will have a “heavy youth focus.” The memo also reveals a plan to “pressure” MPs in 100 Leave-supporting constituencies, and sets out how organizers “have a range of guerilla marketing tactics” to build momentum.
Best for Britain was co-founded by Gina Miller, who took the UK government to court over the triggering of the Article 50 process to leave the EU.
Soros is understood to have made the £400,000 ($555,154) donation through his pro-EU Open Society Foundation. The revelation comes after the magnate previously said the UK could reapply to join the 27-member state bloc soon after Brexit.
The billionaire has already come under intense scrutiny after former UKIP leader Nigel Farage warned MEPs in Brussels over Soros’ “truly extraordinary” influence on Brexit. The comments were made after it emerged Soros injected $18 billion (£12.97 billion) into the Open Society fund.
“I fear we could be looking at the biggest level of international, political collusion in history,” Farage said in the European Parliament last year. “When we are talking about offshore money, when we are talking about political subversion, when we are talking about collusion, I wonder if we are looking in the wrong place.”
“And I say that because George Soros recently gave Open Society, which of course campaigns for freedom of movement of people and supranational structures like the European Union, $18 billion. And his influence here and in Brussels is truly extraordinary,” Farage said.
Lord Malloch-Brown confirmed Soros’ donation, saying the campaign is a “democratic and patriotic effort to recover our future and we welcome support for our efforts from many quarters.”
The news was reported in an article on the Telegraph written by May’s former chief of staff Nick Timothy, who claimed the Best for Britain campaign’s objective is “to convince MPs to vote against the deal Theresa May negotiates with Brussels, regardless of its content.”
